Lynda is an American actress, singer and famous for her character Wonder Woman on the TV series of the same name in 1970s. Through her career, she's appeared in a number of movies and television shows. Her name is a symbol in pop culture. As well as her long acting career Lynda holds the distinction of acting in and producing five highly rated network television specials on CBS some of which included Emmy Award nominated. She's performed alongside some of world's best-known singers like Ray Charles Tom Jones Kenny Rogers George Benson Ben Vereen. Lynda's first professional appearance was when she was 14 years old performing at the Tempe Arizona Music Festival. Tempe Arizona. Her father runs a paper mill, and she's of Italian descent. Laura is from Denville New Jersey. At Morris Knolls High School, she was able to discover her love of acting. She went to CarnegieMellon School of Drama, Pittsburgh where she received an arts degree in 1984. In order to begin her professional career, Giacomo relocated to New York where she began playing in stage productions getting rave reviews for all of her roles. The year 1987 saw her begin her professional career in the world of television performing minor roles in different television shows.
